This was Abigail's maiden voyage on a plane. She did really well on both flights. She was fussy and bored, but she did great. The trip back was exhausting but got better during the last 30 minutes when she had finally fallen asleep (after 15 minutes of flipping around on my lap trying to get comfortable). Here she is on the plane, reading about how to buckle the seat belts:
On Sunday we went swimming at my mom's house. Here she is with her daddy doing the froggy swim. She loved the water! Can you tell from the smile on her face in the second picture? That smile is new...she now scrunches up her nose and squints her eyes. I am wondering if its because she has a few teeth and her smile is changing.
Here is a short video of her first swim:
Did you like how her daddy dunked her?!?! She did really well despite the little mishap! I see swimming lessons in her future (or a pool??).
The rest of the trip was very good. I counted 22 relatives that Abigail got to meet this weekend. I am so glad we went to NJ so she could get acquainted with her NJ/NY roots (oh my goodness....I really do have a midwestern daughter) before I send her to the east coast for college (no pressure though!). I will post other pictures of the trip soon. Thank you to everyone who traveled to see us and to my family who fed and housed us! We love you!
