Some Abigail Updates

I realized last week that I have neglected to post any new pictures or news on the blog, so here are a few items to make you smile.

Here is Abigail with her new cranial helmet. Cute, huh? She wears it 23 hours a day for 4-6 months (I am hoping for 3 months, fingers crossed). The helmet doesn't squish her head back to a normal shape, it just basically helps the skull know where to go when it grows bigger, filling in the internal shape of the helmet. She doesn't seem to mind it at all, but I sure miss loving on that sweet baby head of hair! You can't snuggle quite the same with hard plastic in the way.

And here she is taking a nap. Matthew was in charge...see what happens when you leave daddy to get her to bed?! Kidding....she managed to flip around so much and I guess fell asleep with her feet up on the bumper. The bumper is there, of course, to keep her limbs inside the crib....works well, don't you think?

Here she is with food all over her, as usual. This was taken tonight just before her bath. She has food in her hair, in her ear, in her eyebrow, in her nostril! Oh, she was a mess! A blessed baby mess, and I loved it! This was taken *after* she was already cleaned up post-dinner.

Can't see the mess? How about in this picture? I just want to eat those cheeks!!

Let's see....what else is new with the baby? Well, she can clap hands now on cue, sometimes on her own at herself, particularly when she looks at herself in the mirror (she gives herself full-mouth kisses...so cute!). She has gotten tooth number 2. She laughs all the time! She loves to be tickled, scared (like when you sneak up on her - she cracks up), and kissed on. She still giggles, which is now turning into whole belly laughs. She also waves bye-bye and gives kisses on cue (most of the time). She gives hugs and kisses to us all the time. So precious. She can finally roll over on her own, but still chooses not to do so! She can lift herself up on her arms but hasn't gotten the hang of the crawling thing at all. She has gotten almost all of her strength back in her left arm and seems to have full rotation now. The PT is very pleased.

Oh, and did I mention how much she loves music and dancing?
