My dad took this first picture when we arrived home from Abigail's baptism. I will post other pictures of her soon.
We had a beautiful day on May 10th. It was a nice ceremony (Linworth United Methodist Church) and Abigail did great! She was such a cutie....she was the belle of the ball. She chatted away on the altar waiting for her turn to be baptized....she eventually was content with gumming my fingers. She seemed to enjoy the attention she got from the congregation (hmmm....I wonder who she takes after).
It was a great Mother's Day for me. I had my own mom and my dad here to witness this special occasion. Friends and a few of Matthew's family members we able to join us for a small celebration. My baby was a dream and so well-behaved, despite hardly any sleep due to yet another ear infection. It was certainly a day I will not soon forget....and how could I, it being my very first Mother's Day!
