....she sure is darned cute! Here she is playing with her blocks. I love that she only has one sock on. Who knows where she put it! And the face is still covered with sweet potatoes!I stayed home with her today because she had her 6 month check up this morning and was really not doing so great afterwards. She has had an ear infection and now some kind of sinus cold thing. The doctor just said "yep, she'll need to figure out how to deal with it because we can't give babies cold medicine." Great.
Maybe she is cutting a tooth. Who knows. I just know that I am worn out with the fact that she is waking up every 30 minutes (or less) all night long, screaming at the top of her lungs. She seems like she is in so much pain...it just breaks my heart. Maybe I'm just supposed to leave her in her crib that way, but I just can't do it. So, maybe *next* week I'll get some shut-eye!
I just checked this today and I realize this post is kinda old...but how is she doing now? It seems everything happens like this doesn't it? A cold, teething...multiple issues...ugh!
ReplyDeleteThe twins got their first colds on Easter...same deal...No meds. Did the ear infection end up clearing up on its own then? And did the dr tell you that you could use pain relievers though?
As for the crying it out thing, we have had to do that since there are two of them, BUT when they are sick we are much more flexible. I mean come on! They don't feel well! They need mama/papa love then! ;-) Talie ended up sleeping a lot in her swing then since having her head up helped her breath I think.
