Yummy in the Tummy!

This is a picture from Monday evening when we fed Abigail some cereal. This wasn't her first cereal feeding, but it was the first time that she actually swallowed any of it! But as you can see, she got most of it on her face!!

Abigail is doing well. She goes for her first physical therapy session for her neck on March 19th. I have no idea what they will actually do for her, but I assume they will try to stretch out her neck so that she feels more comfortable turning it towards her right. She does actually turn it, but she doesn't sleep any other way except with her head all the way to her left. I fear that they are going to have us do the physical therapy at home and I won't be able to do it well. I guess I'll find out on the 19th! We are approved for 45 PT visits! My goodness, I hope we don't need that many.

I don't think I updated everyone about her xrays. We got the xrays on her neck done a couple of weeks ago. The results were positive - there are no anatomical issues with her neck or spine. So that was a relief. But the process of getting the xrays was terribly upsetting. They had to strap her down with tape and have her torso hanging over a plastic ledge. She screamed the whole time and she was so worked up that it took me 45 minutes to calm her. Poor baby! She is such a little trooper.

  1. Seriously Stephanie - you will do just fine with the PT at home. Those xrays do sound insane (what are those people thinking!?!). Hope her 1st PT session is a little less stressful!
